mini portrait session - isabelle + fabien

The first of the mini portrait sessions I did during the last school holidays (30mins /15-20 photos / $75). 

Isabelle and Fabien were just gorgeous - I say that about pretty much all children, but it's true most kids are just gorgeous in their own very personal way, and I love that!

Fabien was such a happy little chap, and Isabelle was just divine, despite being very tired, her personality shines through these photos.

What i am learning through these mini portrait sessions is that children are always true to themselves and you have to embrace and cherish what they bring to the moment and go with the flow.

my photographs in the current NZ Life & Leisure

I feel very proud to have my name in the current New Zealand Life & Leisure magazine (for the second time :-) ).  
I took the photographs for the story on the Damson Collection in Havelock North. I don't know if it's because I really enjoy reading magazines, or because I enjoy reading NZ Life & Leisure in particular, but I have to say it makes me feel all warm and happy inside! And proud of my work so far.  
By the way, the Damson Collection plum products are deliciously yummy!!

I photographed their beautiful little girl when she was a newborn http://fotographiebyflorence.blogspot.co.nz/2012/10/vaeda.html.

and this summer this lovely couple gave me the honour to photograph their wedding!

I got to travel to waiheke island near auckland, nz, a beautiful island that is a perfect setting for a wedding.
these guys have got a great sense of taste and are fun, so you can imagine how i felt about being there too.  I loved their wedding and I love the photos!
